I understand Michael. On the Discovery Channel macro evolution is always a given in every nature show, never that God or at least a creator created things like they are from the start.

I generally avoid watching tv shows about the Bible, especially when its done by so called “objective” tv. Discovery channel is one that usually slams Evangelical Christians, their faith and the Bible. PBS is not too far behind them. I avoided the show since the tone of what I read about the show was to create controversy.

Jeff, Thanks for the review. I actually paid for a subscription a few weeks ago and have not received any magazine. I am looking forward to getting my first copy.Daniel Wallace prefers the NET bible? Really? - hahaha

Actually, Spurgeon was NOT kicked out of the Baptist Association but resigned to the dismay of English Baptist’s. You could consult Ian Murry’s “The Forgotten Spurgeon” for a resource.
