I won't have time to read the book but it's interesting to see any connections between EO and Reformed.

Jeff,

Indeed theology is a few humbling task! If you get a chance you might enjoy reading Robert Letham's book: Through Western Eyes, Eastern Orthodoxy: A Reformed Perspective. It is a friendly book, and shows the newer agreement (since the 90's) with the Reformed toward the EO's great Trinitarian doctrines. This was what really drew me. But finally, I could not follow the Orthodox in their lack of Pauline Imputation.

Jeff,

Yep, change yet again! But this time, it is a change not "just" from the mental, though that's there too, but the change has been much more interior, and I hope the Spirit/spirit. Yeah, check out the doctrine of God's synergy! Btw, even Augustine taught this also. :)

Jeff,

Just a note, I have 'turned the ship back into the wind' lol, and have again returned to a fuller place in the Reformed faith. It is good to re-think our "Gospel" at times, is it real, lasting and producing Christ in me, and for others? Always the challenge! (1 Tim. 4: 16/ 2 Tim. 2:15).

Thanks for the link. I didn't know you have a blog! The link to it in your screen name doesn't work. I'm sure many would like to read it.

That's pretty cool you knew FF Bruce.
