They are still working on it, but I assure you that it was up and running last night, although it had problems. I don’t know if they were testing, and I just happen to be on line very late, or if they found too many problems and pulled it off. Or they just take it off line to make more changes.
I can’t believe I said Netscape, what a brain fart. I meant FireFox hahaha. Yeah you maybe seeing the old one. If it is blue, with the red logo then you are. I just checked again and it is back. The one with the badge background is the new one.
I’ve been seeing the brown on all day. They don’t have one of the pages up yet. I don’t like it when people do that. I think they should wait until it’s finished before they release it. But that’s just a web designer pet peeve. I hope they grow it quickly and a blog would be great. I hope the NIV2011 follows suite.

Jeff, did you watch the video they have on line? In the video they show for a few frames what appears to be their on-line study bible. If they were to put one up I would be really interested in it. I do hope that the NIV 2011 also releases a new study bible that is available on line.
Robert that video hasn’t loaded for me yet. I suppose it’s all the people clamoring to see it. I suppose that’s the bit of something new they have on the site.

I just saw the video. I like how they say that all the scholars believe in inerrancy. (ha) I don’t like a lot of the impossible to prove claims that they make. I wish they would have shown some of the pictures of the different Bibles for a couple seconds longer. Nice video though.

I just tried again using IE, and the same thing it takes me to the old website.
Maybe I’m seeing the old web site too. ? I’m not sure if it’s new or old.
