Jeff, you basically write “hubs” or articles on just about anything. Anyone can sign up, it’s not like blogging because you don’t maintain a website, each individual hub is technically a stand alone page, but you can add a lot more to it than a traditional blog post. It’s not hard to get the hang of, it just takes a few minutes. Actually, where I made more money was from the Adsense money. I didn’t make a lot, but couple of months I will get a Google deposit of $100 from Adsense on Hubpages.

I just briefly looked at HubPages but don’t really understand what it is. How do you use it?

Jeff, you inspired me to check. I’ve had 11 clicks from my blog bookstore with 0 purchases (in about 3 months). On Hubpages, I’ve had 952 clicks across several articles with 42 purchases for a grand total of $32.25 in earnings in about 20 months.

No it doesn’t count if you buy from your own store or links.

If you could buy from my search box or their stores that would be great. When going through a search box, anywhere else you go still counts towards my account.

Thanks a lot. I wrote a post about this quite a while ago. I confess I sometimes forget to buy through someone else’s link when I buy from Amazon.

As far as I know, I have never had anyone buy a book through my bookstore, but I haven't done much to promote it either, so who knows? I have had several people buy a book called My Boys Can Swim off of a fluff piece I wrote a while back when my wife was expecting over on HubPages, A Dad's Guide to Surviving Pregnancy. I think I've made like $10-12.
