I would highly recommend spending a day alone with God with no computer, internet, cell phone, TV, music and whatever other extra stuff you may have going on. It’s weird. It’s difficult. It’s lonely. It’s just you and God. It’s sacrificial. It’s educational. It’s beneficial. It’s wonderful. God will speak in one way or another and He will enjoy having you concentrate on Him all day.

Was it as a thousand years?
That’s a good practice, one that I’ve not taken up.
Took me a minute to get that. (2 Peter 3:8)
It really seems like a day.
Jeff
Sounds great. I’m glad it was rewarding for you.
Very much so. Thanks for the encouragement.
Jeff
I think this is all a conspiracy to address my apparent internet addiction – Peter, Jeff – you are in on this.
Well done, Jeff. I am glad that it served you the way it was supposed to.
you are right jeff. a small church pastor friend of my told me once he deactivated his Facebook account and did a fast with the Lord his little church doubled in size (small church meaning under 100 at this point – it’s a sort of revitalization project).
Interesting brian. I’m not looking for anything specific but I did pray for healing and other things of course.
It makes me think about how much time I spend online. I don’t think the majority of it is wasted. I don’t play games or read frivolous stuff. But I pray that I would use my time well and I think right now I’m reading a little too much stuff online. I’m going to try to streamline it a little more.
I’ve never been into Facebook or Twitter though. I posted about Twitter a short time ago and signed up to follow a couple of people but haven’t looked at it since then.
