Thanks Gary. I don't know enough yet to come up with things like that but maybe next year.

Wow, wonderful post! Although I don't put my title in Greek, I do use Greek for several things on facebook (including the occasional status). I always give reference afterward, though.

And to introduce myself to this community with something amusing:

Ἰακὼβ ὁ παντοτεχνίτης = “Jack of all trades.” Admittedly, I coined it, but my "LXXicon" helped me find τεχνίτης.

I meant to comment on this the day it came out, but alas time went by and I forgot.

I laughed when I read it, wondered what in the world Jack of All Trades would look like in Greek, and noted that I do change my theme periodically for the same reason as Robert. I just get tired of it. Sometimes after I've used it for a bit, there is something I don't like about it. They don't all do pingbacks right.

Daniel, I think I generally say Dr. so-n-so.

I'm so picky I can't just choose a theme as use it as is. I need/want to customize it just how I like it which takes time I probably shouldn't spend. So since I like mine I just keep it until it looks really old and outdated.

BTW it's nice to have you back.

Jeff, I am certainly number 5 - I get tired of looking at my blog so I change the look of it, hopefully not to often, but more often than others.

Kevin I don't do any either except for maybe #6. I may be a little over compensating there because I've read some posts lately about how people (themselves) don't read long posts. SO I don't want to write posts that people won't read. Plus like I said it's easier. We can be uncool though.

Jeff, I laughed with a smirk in agreement with all your six points. I don't do any of these things but maybe I should start.

Daniel, I have the handbook but I don't loan it out very often. Seriously, you'll learn the ropes just by reading for a while. We're all still learning them. I have to be careful with humor so as not to accidentally offend people. I also have to be careful not to talk about things I don't know much about as if I do. Otherwise I'll look real dumb. Everybody has their own things to be careful of.

I've been told to just be yourself. I would add Eph 4:29 onto that.

Joel, which one? You write some longer substantial posts (a good thing) but you don't have to write long comments. You also change themes often so you're cool.

Bryan, nobody can be accused of name dropping when they call you Bryan.

TC, the controversial one. Braver than me for sure.

Regarding #3, my first instinct is to use "Dr. So-and-so," but I don't think I've ever seen someone do that on a blog, and I'm still learning the ropes, so I just go with the flow. Is there a Biblioblogger Handbook of Style anywhere?

That was pretty funny. My favorite was #3. I love how people call James D.G. Dunn "Jimmy" and "Charlie" for either C.K. Barrett or C.F.D. Moule. Classic. : )
