I know what you mean Gary. That’s probably why some of us could use another person to proofread our work but I also sometimes automatically correct the typos of others so that I don’t even notice it. Their/there/they’re is one of the ones that always stick out to me though. I’m sure I’ve done it but I hope I know the difference.

You know, some of us have gotten used to ignoring most such errors as long as we can understand what the person is trying to say. My years on Christian internet discussion boards talking with folks from many different parts of the country, and from other countries, as well as from all sorts of backgrounds and education levels has taken that edge off of me. I usually let errors pass, unless it is incomprehensible or inappropriate.

Derek, that’s funny (my typo). I corrected it but it would serve me right to leave it up there. I’m surprised nobody else caught it or at least mentioned it.

About #1, you’re welcome. It really is a good thing to realize. It’s a tough one.

TC, most guys are jealous about that. It’s a tough hobby for someone with a bad back but I brew with a friend.

Peter, I have a long list of misspelling and funny things people write just off the top of my head. One of my favorites is, “I second the emotion.”

I also find that people have a really hard time differentiating between “then” & “than.”

It usually takes telling people something three times before it sinks in.

Roasting is great. Ironically I can’t handle much caffeine, but I get to drink the best coffee in the world and it costs less than buying it roasted.

If you know of commercial beers that are gluten free that you like, you could find some clone recipes and make your own.
