If you had to select only five or six verses you would pray every morning which ones would they be?
My choices as of now are:
Psalms 86:11 HCSB
Teach me Your way, Lord,
and I will live by Your truth.
Give me an undivided mind to fear Your name.
Luke 9:23 HCSB
If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
Luke 11:3 HCSB
Give us each day our daily bread.
Matthew 6:33 HCSB
seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness
Luke 22:42 HCSB
“…not My will, but Yours, be done.”
Colossians 1:11-12 NRSV
may you be prepared to endure everything with patience, while joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light.
Psalm 19:14 HCSB
May the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart
be acceptable to You,
Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
If you’d like to list your own, please do so here or make a new post on your blog and let us know.

Amen. I love that first one. So true. So honest.
I find this interesting, I have about 20 translations but not HCSB.
I was looking up Ps 86:11 on the next page is the cry of Haties 88:1-2 Lord I Cry out for help

Hi,
Here is one for you:
2 Sam. 14:14 NLT
All of us must die eventually. Our lives are like water spilled out on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. But God does not just sweep life away; instead, he devises ways to bring us back when we have been separated from him.
I have been rejunevated by reading the above bible verses and pray to Christ to endure to live in those lines.
That’s good to hear Davis. Thanks for stopping by.
Jeff
My “favorite” Scripture is John 3:16 because God has been so patient with me through His Son, Jesus MY Christ. BUT, as I use to hear the old saints say in my very young years of life, “He has brought me a mighty long ways, and I just can’t thank Him enough.” I am so grateful that He is in my life. Praise God!!! I have no doubt that He loves me “for the Bible tells me so.” Amen
Very nice comment Enez. Thank you for stopping by and writing your thoughts.
Jeff
