Thanks for the update, and I did figure there was a Good reason for the delay. I only wonder why such little info released and/or outlets, ie: dedicated web site, blogs, forums, etc.. all to Help with the Build up to the release..
Then again if I had all the answers, B&H would be calling me for advice…
…and my phone isn’t ringing..

halfdeaf, sorry to be so late to the conversation here, but I thought I’d offer this: Dr. Blum’s reasoning for the delay of the updated study Bible was that they wanted some more time to build up to the release. They just hired a new Brand Manager for the HCSB this summer, so I’m sure he wants some time to do some marketing work on it before releasing it.

Plus, they are still talking through some possible textual changes. That’s a very good reason to postpone the release.

No HCSB S/B Until 2010 ?
Last semi-reliable word was a release about Sept/Oct ’09… How does B&H let us HCSB fans sit on pins an needles for the last 9 mo’s (or so..) with huge expectations of the S/B and then slowly leak out how it’s going to be yet another year or so to wait ?
Sure, the HCSB is holding it’s own in sales, and would not want to publish before it is ready, still the Faithful are becoming restless. Just thought that with all the few interviews & updates done with Dr. Blum, a better time line could have been given.

It seems that the HCSB Study Bible will not be released until October 2010.
